OUR MISSION:
The French Technical Ceramics Industry
trade Association (SICT)
is entitled to gather and represent all companies
acting in the field of technical ceramics.
SICT offers a framework allowing the various actors, acting in
the field of ceramic material ,to work together
promoting this material in a spirit of co-operation and
consensus.
The trade Association is member of the ceramics profession and for this reason it belongs to the Confederation of
French Ceramic Industry (CICF).
The trade Association wants to be the agent of the whole
profession without any exclusive in order to represent the
common interest. SICT is federator of this activity and wishes
to gather the manufacturers of this field, as well as the
users or suppliers of these products, in order to improve the
knowledge on the “ State of the art " of our industry and to
promote future common developments.
The technical ceramic material offers traditional properties
of resistance to temperature, friction, to the majority of
acids, tenacity, conductivity or electric insulation… threfore
it is a material often used in technologically advanced
sectors.
